Mechs vs Minions: Remember that really fun co-op Riot game released where you program Mechs that made you want to hug and punch your friends simultaneously? Want to play it digitally and not deal with any set-up or storage hassles? Enjoy. Everything ever released, minus the new Super Star Destroyer, mostly automated. Star Wars Armada Complete: Turns a solid miniatures game into a fantastic one. Magic the Gathering and Populous had a baby raised on co-op and chess.

Spirt Island Scripted Deluxe: Best co-op game on the market IMO. See above again.Ĭthulhu Wars Complete: Want to play the most underappreciated asymmetrical strategy game in years? Who would win in a fight between Cthulhu and Nyarlathotep? Go find out. Arguably better than Gloomhaven, every xpac, every everything, all automated - makes you appreciate FFG and their catalog. You're welcome, say goodbye to months if you have a good group.ĭecent 2e Main Table: This one is just silly. Gloomhaven: Want to play one of the better games of the past 5 years without any of the pain (i.e. Ya, its an older game, but its progenitor of modern dungeon crawlers. Hero Quest: Master Edition: This thing is so twinked its like seeing a 747 turned into a space shuttle. In no real order, but gems that show what the community has done: Alot have been previously mentioned, but tried to link the prime ones since so many games have tons of versions. I picked up tabletop simulator when it came out on steam and they didn't add scripting until relatively recently towards the end of last year. You have to deal with some of tabletop's crappy quirks and may be a bit annoying to set up, but overall you get to try and see if you like a particular game. There are a ton, but really TTS is the hidden gem to our hobby. Lastly, don't be afraid to try the non scripted versions of things if you really want to try something. Other than those, check out eclipse scripted for a space 4x, mechs vs minions scripted for a programming board game type, Aeons end if you like coop deckbuilders that are dominion like with twists(basically no shuffle and turn order are shuffled so actions can be planned but rng turn order), if you like a heavy game with both pvp or coop there is a mage knight scripted version(this game is pretty heavy and takes a long time with more than 2 players, though). If you want an entry worker placement game, try Lords of the Waterdeep(I think there is a scripted version?) Lastly, burgle bros is another one of the more on the casual side coop, but pretty fun games. I'd say start with those if your friends are more casual for board games. Make no mistake, you still have to know the rules and such, but the scripted versions mostly make setup and some minor quality of life stuff instead of having to do everything manually. Pathfinder ACG is pretty simple if you like a coop card game with a campaign. Same with Settlers of Catan has plenty of scripted versions(the one I used before was called settlers of catan + expansions (scripted) but we haven't touched this game in awhile). It's a deckbuilder like ascension with a board. There are plenty of Clank! scripted versions. Oh so I just looked through the workshop again, some more casual stuff if your friends aren't into heavier games. Uhh, there no real ratio you just have to search around for the scripted stuff. Those are the only three I have, I can't say much about the others. Mistfall is just the base game and not the expansion either sadly. So, for the paid content, only one person needs to have the dlc(however that person has to host so make sure they have the better connection :P). Zombicide I don't think is scripted even on the workshop, but there is expansion content on the workshop that requires you to have the zombicide dlc.

I know there is a workshop mod that makes the scythe dlc scripted(you still need to have bought the scythe dlc since it uses the assets from there).

There are some workshop mods that make some of them scripted.

The pay games actually are not scripted which is disappointing.
